These seminars are based upon the original work of Joseph Pilates and contain hundreds of exercises many which have not been seen, or explored by the Pilates community. The foundation and benefits of each exercise and apparatus is explored including integration into existing repertoire, necessary modifications, and adaptations. This will be an interactive experience and process where attendees will participate, and learn the exercise process from history of evolution, purpose, to demonstration, and precision via a highly refined approach to execution.

Continuing Education for The New York Pilates Studio ® Teacher Certification Program can be obtained by attending any of the following:
1. Any workshop offered as part of The New York Pilates Studio ® Teacher Certification Program, (beginner through advanced)
2. Joseph H. Pilates Archival Seminars offered by The U.S.P.A. ™
3. Anatomy Seminars offered by The U.S.P.A. ™ (Anatomy Seminars will explore the basics of anatomy, biomechanics, and kinesiology relative to the practice of The Authentic Pilates ™ Method).
4. Seminars sponsored by The New York Pilates Studio ® Teacher Certification Program in which Authentic Pilates ™ exercises will be reviewed on the mat, and additional, various apparatus.
Anatomy seminars are taught by industry professionals, and will embrace and elevate a more in-depth comprehension of Authentic Pilates™ practice, and teaching application.

Learn the basicprinciples of how and why Authentic Pilates ™ works. You will learn skills to enhance your teaching by learning to see the client the Pilates way. We will go through the basic program so that you can get a basic understanding of how to incorporate this way of seeing as you progress to become a competent teacher of Authentic Pilates ™.
