Lolita San Miguel
Ms San Miguel is a first generation teacher of the Pilates Method. Born in New York, she studied at the School of American Ballet and graduated from the Performing Arts High School and was for 10 years a soloist with Metropolitan Opera Ballet. In 1958 she trained and was certified by Carola Trier and is especially proud of being one of two people in the world certified by Joseph H. Pilates. She is also certified by polestar Pilates Education, Inc. Ms San Miguel founded and directed, Ballet Concierto de Puerto Rico, a renowned ballet company and is also Founder and Director of Pilates y Mas. A popular international presenter, she is the author of a series of DVD's tiltled, "Lolita shares her Pilates" : Mat I, Reformer I, reformer II, and Lolita's Pilates BodyWalk.

Peter Fiasca
Peter is the founder of True Classical Pilates, undertook and completed his Pilates certification in 1998 under Romana Kryzanowska, formerly on The New York Pilates Studio Certification Program. Peter created the award winning Classical Pilates techniques series (six DVD titles) and was invited by Romana to be in her first commercial DVD project. Peter has continued his study with 1st generation master teachers Jay Grimes, and Kathy Grant, as well as many other prominent Pilates Method aficionados.

Peter has an M.A. in psychology, an M. Ed. counseling degree and Ph. D. (Columbia University). After relocating to Philadelphia in 1993, Peter worked in the psychology field at a number of well respected medical facilities.

Throughout this time Peter remained devoted to preserving the traditional technique and unique spirit of Joseph Pilates' original method of physical and mental conditioning.

MeJo Wiggin
MeJo began studying Pilates at the original NY Pilates Studio in 1990, where she met and began extensive training with Master Teacher Romana Kryzanowska. In 2003, Romana selected MeJo to film her, "Romana's Pilates," Video series, and certified her as a Teacher Trainer to help her teach the next generation of Pilates instructors. Since then, MeJo has given seminars in classical Pilates throughout the US and Europe.

Brett Howard, (owner of The Pilates Haus in Jersey City, NJ), is the United States Pilates Association™ LLC Sr. Teacher Trainer, creative director and archival expert. . He received a B.F.A. in Dance from S.U.N.Y. Purchase and is completing his M.A. in Dance Education from New York University. He is the Sr. Teacher Trainer and a graduate of the New York Pilates Studio ® Teacher Certification Program in 1998.

Catherine Cuzzone (owner of PilatesRI in Providence and Barrington, Rhode Island) is director of U.S.P.A.™ administration, communications, and finance. She received her B.A. in communication and business management from Manhattanville College. Catherine is a Teacher Trainer and a graduate of the New York Pilates Studio ® Teacher Certification Program in 1996.

David Freeman (owner The Pilates Institute (SM) of Ft. Lauderdale in Florida) is the U.S.P.A. ™ legal director and program design consultant for the teacher certification program and educational seminars. He received his B.A. from Hobart College and his J.D. from Georgetown Law School. David is a Teacher Trainer and a graduate of the New York Pilates Studio ® Teacher Certification Program in 1999.
